Church ministrations can be attended in person or via live broadcasts.
Starting on the 20th, starting at 6 pm, the Igreja Habitar, in São Paulo, will hold a series of ministries aimed at the LGBTQIAP+ public, with the theme “Deus AMA o Pride”.
The ministries appear as a counterpoint to other prejudiced religious and in support of the LGBTQIAP+ community. The lectures will talk about the performance and presence of the community in the evangelical Christian church and the reflection of this in society.
The decision to have this series was made after the homophobic attacks in recent months, such as, for example, Pastor André Valadão’s ministrations called “God hates pride”, where he attacks the LGBTQIAP+ community.
On the 20th, the Church will address the dissimilarity between pride associated with arrogance and presumption and pride associated with the feeling of joy and great satisfaction with one’s own worth and with one’s own honor.
In addition, the ministries will oppose the wrong attitudes and affirmation of religious people who oppose the presence of LGBTQIAP+ people in religious coexistence, as well as defend inclusive theology, which aims to promote the reception, preservation and appreciation of lives, including those of lives that are often marginalized by society.
