The legendary actor said that at school he was often beaten by a ruler because of this incurable disease.
American bodybuilder, movie actor Arnold Schwarzenegger admitted that since childhood he has been suffering from an incurable disease. He wrote this on Facebook.
According to the former governor of California, he has dyslexia – a disorder in which it is difficult to read and write.
“My secret is this: I’m a terrible reader. In the 1950s in Austria there was no talk of learning disabilities, so usually when I was called on in class to read aloud, it was, well, a calamity only, and I was slashed with a ruler. But now I know that I have dyslexia,” shared the actor.
Arnold Schwarzenegger also added that when preparing for a movie, he rereads the script for months until he memorized every line. After all, he needs time and repetition to understand the words.
It was previously reported that the family of actor Bruce Willis said doctors had discovered he had frontotemporal dementia.
