Regina Volpato will leave the command of Women, from Tv Gazeta, after five years presenting the program, which is the longest running female attraction on Brazilian television, and will complete 43 years in September. The decision to leave the channel came after not accepting the salary reduction proposal.
For Who, the presenter said: “I am available to the station until July, but I don’t know what the station’s strategy will be. I don’t know if they will stay with me for this period.”.
“I don’t know what the reason for the salary reduction is. It was with all the presenters and commentators, but the real reason I don’t know”, he said.
About new projects, Regina said that she still does not have any new project defined: “I still don’t have any projects, but I have a conviction: everything has a limit, a level to which we reach. There is a non-negotiable limit, that of dignity. I reached that limit”.
“The routine is exhausting and requires a very high level of attention. It’s four hours, live, from Monday to Friday. I can’t do it for less than I used to”, she completed.
