In Zurich, Switzerland, Russians disrupted the charity concerts of Artem Pivovarov and Oleg Skripka. The artists announced this on their Instagram pages.
The musician said that today, June 5, his performance should take place in one of the concert venues, however, the local authorities called him a fan of ultra-right ideology, because he helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“In Zurich, Switzerland, we were faced with a situation where the local authorities, including the concert venue where our concert was held, canceled this concert the day before it took place, calling me an ultra- radical right, referring to the video and photo reports where we help our military,” he said.
According to Pivovarov, the spread of such disinformation is the work of the Russians. However, the singer’s performance will take place, because Artem Pivovarov has found another concert venue.
“We have a war in our country, and as a witness to the ongoing shelling of my country, I dedicate myself to popularizing Ukrainian culture and holding charity concerts to bring the victory of our country closer. are all those who defend our country, from the president to a volunteer, ultra-right? This reason is probably the result of attempts by pro-Russian people to prevent a Ukrainian artist from holding a charity concert,” the artist summarized.
Oleg Skrypka’s concert scheduled for June 25 in Zurich has been cancelled, accusing him of supporting “ultra-nationalist ideology”.
“The Kremlin’s propaganda abroad uses Goebelsian methods: the harsher the lie, the more they believe it. It is completely baseless that I am accused of following an ultranationalist ideology, which is a complete lie. Therefore , without checking the facts, Foreign media spread this disinformation, leading to the cancellation of the concert in Zurich, Switzerland,” he wrote.
At the same time, Oleg Skrypka noted that in addition to raising funds for defenders of Ukraine, the group Vidoplyasova shouted tell the world the truth about the war that Russia has unleashed on the territory of our country.
“By organizing tours during the war, we strive not only to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also to convey to the world community that Ukraine is an original country with its own traditions, its own culture, and now it is fighting the brutal aggressor Russia, which does not stop rocket attacks on peaceful cities … Everyone our concert is designed to unite Ukrainians and Europeans abroad that supports our country in difficult times,” said the artist.
