Vicente Escrig, the singer’s ex-husband, has been in a legal fight with Simaria since 2021
In August 2021, the marriage of Simaria with Vicente Escrigthe former couple’s marriage lasted almost 14 years and they had two children, Giovannaout of 10, and pawelfrom 7.
At the time, the singer explained the reason for the breakup: “My loves, good afternoon! Before the news leaks out, I’m going to tell you myself! I inform everyone that my relationship with Vicente has come to an end, after 14 years.”
“It was a thoughtful decision, with great clarity. We had beautiful moments together, two wonderful children, who are our greatest riches. I pray to God that Vicente is very happy, because he deserves it.”, he spoke.

Since the end of the relationship, the ex-couple has fought a court battle with accusations on both sides and, for the first time, Vicente spoke about the end and, according to him, many lies were spoken.
The Spaniard revealed details of the judicial process in an interview with gossiping: “Because of this, my financial capacity was practically extinguished. I had a decent net worth. I had to close my digital marketing company.”
“They put a pension outside my capacity. The pension was 17 minimum wages since the beginning of 2022…. This process broke me in terms of money and also mentally”, he spoke.
“You know what the life of an artist is like, right? Constant travel, publicity commitments. The person who was most present, who was my children’s daily reference, was me. Simaria created in her ability…”, remembered.
Vicente stated that Simaria lied in her interview with Leo Dias: “99% of the things she said were lies. She said she broke up right away. She didn’t break up, I was the one that broke up the first time because I had a series of conditions that didn’t respect our initial agreement.”
“I was committed to the relationship. I left everything (in Spain), family, friends and put my job at a French company at risk. Everything to start a family. I didn’t come to play in Brazil”, continued.
He even commented on Simaria claiming that he robbed her of R$5 million: “Five million? I never had that amount.”
“I never advised Simaria with that amount. The amount that we allocated and which was in fact what I advised was an amount of 2.5 million, which is well half”, said.
The businessman said that the couple’s children were more attached to him: “Who do you think my children called when I left home? For me. Although today the relationship is a little deteriorated, who do you think my daughter called when she had a nightmare? For me.”

Vicente spoke about Simaria’s accusations about the investments that did not work out: “She says it’s investment in cryptocurrency, for example, one of them.”
