A few weeks ago I was fighting the virus and since then we’ve been touring Europe and playing incredible shows. I had a great time at soundcheck tonight and I’m really excited that we’re going to give Manchester a fantastic show tonight with a special surprise guest at the end,” he said.
The artist made only three compositions, but in the end he realized that he had problems with his voice. Behind the scenes, the musician tried to bring it back, but it did not lead to anything, so the audience was asked to leave the hall.
“During the third song, I noticed something was wrong with my voice. I prayed that my voice would wake up before the performance, but during the fourth song, I felt something was really wrong. I left the stage and tried to get it back but he didn’t move. Honestly, it breaks my heart that I couldn’t finish the show tonight for all of you. I love you all. I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry,” summed up Sam Smith.
