British family Alison and Ding Ling have returned their 25-year-old cat, which went missing two years ago. The animal, seeing the owners, began to cry. Animal activist, founder of the organization Lost and Found Animals of Kent Natasha McPhee told a touching story on Facebook.
A cat named Kizzy left home in 2021 and never came back. The couple thought the then 23-year-old animal had died and missed their pet terribly.
However, a few days ago, the cat was spotted on the side of the road by a passer-by who at first thought it was dead. And then I realized that the cat was very tired. The animal was taken to the hospital.
There it turned out that he was bitten by fleas, he suffered from worms and weighed only 2.5 kg. He also has overgrown claws, so he can’t move.
After helping, the cat was added to the animal search group, so 48-year-old Alison Ling recognized him as her pet.
“He recognized the smell of my husband and cried. Now he rests with us and gets lots of hugs and treats,” Alison said.
Remember that in Japan, a cat named Pancho became a star of social networks thanks to his sad face. He has been dubbed “the saddest cat in the world.”
