The artist was angry that during the war there were people who cheated to make as much profit as possible.
Ukrainian singer Irina Fedyshyn spoke about an unpleasant incident that happened to her in London. He announced this on his Instagram page.
According to him, speaking at a charity dinner, he encountered an unreliable organizer, who also turned out to be a scammer, because he took all the proceeds from ticket sales.
“The organizer of the charity dinner in London, Nikolai Levchenko, did not give us a single pound from the sale of tickets for the charity dinner, which was sent to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I want to immediately reassure all the people who donated and bought lots tonight. These funds, and it’s 3720 £, with serious misfortunes and scandals, we were able to take and they will all go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but we had to find the people who donated and transferred funds to this organizer, but hid part of the donations, and only when we found the person who personally donated and transferred funds to Levchenko this, he said that he actually received everything, but forgot to return it,” he said.
In addition, the next day he asked for interest on the sold lots, referring to the fact that he had to cover personal expenses.
“He, without our approval, flew from Dublin, where he lives, to England in the west with his family. And he had to cover all his expenses for the weekend in London: airfare , hotel and food with the funds of the people who came to the concert and donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is an unfortunate situation,” added the singer.
However, Irina Fedyshyn noted that the organizer did not pay the team’s expenses. Everything was paid for by the artist’s family themselves.
