The number of the composition is dedicated to the migrants who were forced to leave their country because of an all-out war.
The famous Ukrainian singer Alyosha performed in the first semi-final of Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool with the British star Rebecca Ferguson.
They performed Duran Duran’s legendary hit called Ordinary world, and dedicated the number to the war in our country.
In particular, when Alyosha entered the stage, a sound of an air raid was heard in the hall. When the siren stopped, the artist began to sing. He sang one verse of the song in Ukrainian, and the other part in English.
It was noted that the framework of the issue, which was created under enemy missile strikes, focused on internally displaced people. He became very close to Alyosha, because, as in the plot of the performance, his beloved went to the front to defend the country, and he went abroad with his children.
The decisive moment was the appearance on the screens of the flags of the countries supporting Ukraine in the war. They united in one big blue-yellow Ukrainian heart, keeping the same rhythm.
“Our issue is dedicated to Ukrainian mothers who have been forced to take their children to safe cities and countries since the beginning of the terrible war that came to Ukraine. To every wife whose husband stood up for in defense of Ukraine, left his family. In general, the number is about every Ukrainian: from 24.02 .22 in the palette of our life, unfortunately, dark colors still prevail. But thanks to Armed Forces of Ukraine, bright colors appear in this palette. And they will soon shine all over Ukraine!”
Earlier it was reported that the list of Eurovision finalists appeared following the results of the first semi-final of the contest.
