Ukrainian rapper and producer Oleksiy Potapenko (Potap) for the first time commented on the scandal that erupted in his composition Volunteer. This was reported by bigmir.net.
The artist said that he was inspired to create the song when he visited the Dobrobat battalion in Irpin.
“We stood with the volunteers of this battalion in the courtyard of a bombed house, I shook hands with them, sang for them, looked into their eyes. However, netizens criticized the artist for the primitive nature of the text and expressed the opinion that the track devalued the activities of the volunteers.
