Mark Hammill managed to raise more than 75 thousand dollars. He also expressed his respect for the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“It’s nice to meet you. I’m playing a warrior in a movie, and you’re the real hero of a real war. We hope for your victory soon, but we’ll be with you as long as it lasts. Even if -promoted me a movie, I always remember that I was trying to help the Ukrainians win the war by any means. And we won. You won. Don’t doubt for a second. Everyone said that Ukraine would fall in four days. Remember? But you proved to the whole world. Ukraine is not worth it,” he said.
In turn, the Ukrainian servicemen expressed their gratitude to the star of the Star Wars movie for their support.
