The star tried to convey the symbolism of the resilience of the Ukrainian people and cities in the face of Russian aggression.
Olympic medalist in rhythmic gymnastics Anna Rizatdinova, along with her Dancing with the Stars partner Alexander Prokhorov, danced at the sites of rocket attacks in the Ukrainian capital. Video posted on YouTube.
The couple came to this decision to remind the world of the state of our people during the war.
The dance was performed to the anti-war hit Zombie by The Cranberries. It was made on a glass bridge in Kyiv, against the backdrop of the 101 Tower business center and Sofiyskaya Square, which was damaged as a result of a missile attack on the thermal power plant.
The video also shows footage from other Ukrainian cities where active fighting is taking place.
“Every day Russian bombs fall on my country, heroes and children die every day. At the same time, the whole world lives in the same reality. Russians have symbols of war on the stands of the tennis court, their athletes will participate in world fencing competitions, and now the possibility is being discussed of their presence in the Olympic Games… As a citizen, as a mother, as a person who had the honor to represent his country at the Olympic Games, which are considered the highest values and principles, I can’t help but be angry because the world does not want to notice the tragedy of my people! this video is to remind the world, and, unfortunately, some Ukrainians, that the war continues and victory is given at the cost of the lives of our military and civilians! We must always remember this! Therefore, I launched the #stillwarinukraine hashtag. Do not forget whole world who is really fighting for his freedom! Rizatdinova said.
Recall that on March 22, Russian invaders launched a missile attack on a nine-story residential building in Zaporozhye, where Ukrainian model Yulia Ratner grew up.
