Every year on March 14, Ukraine celebrates Volunteer Day. The holiday was established to honor the brave men and women who stood up for the Motherland.
The leader of the Okean Elzy group, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, spoke to Ukrainian volunteers on their professional holiday, celebrated on March 14.
In particular, the artist said that he had a great honor to congratulate everyone who, from the beginning of a large-scale war, took up arms and went to defend their homeland from the Russian invaders. He also added that the state is people.
“Today is Ukrainian Volunteer Day! I honor to congratulate all those who, at the very beginning of the war, willingly took up arms to defend our state. These thousands of men and women are a truly clear which is an example that the state is people. And we are certainly defending this principle today in front of the enemy. We will definitely win! Glory to Ukraine,” he said.
