US First Lady Jill Biden spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The wife of the American president published her appeal calling for an end to the war in Ukraine in an opinion column on CNN.
Biden spoke about his visits to Slovakia and Romania, where he talked to refugees from Ukraine, and also shared his impressions on talking to Ukrainians in Uzhgorod.
“It’s impossible to leave the place where the war goes on without changing. You don’t have to see grief with your eyes, because you feel it in your heart. Sadness is something that covers the face like a veil. Mr. Putin, please stop this futile and cruel war ”he wrote.
