Large production companies invest millions of dollars in the production of feature films

5. Pirates of the Caribbean – On Stranger Tides (2011) – $378.5 million

To date, “Pirates of the Caribbean – On Stranger Tides” is the cinema’s highest-grossing film, costing $378.5 million. Released in 2011, the feature was successful among young people and adults and managed to raise about a billion dollars after its release.
