Scientists named the deadly bacteria after Keanu Reeves

Researchers have discovered that this substance is effective against both plant fungal diseases and human pathogenic fungi.

Researchers at the Leibniz Institute in Germany have named a recently discovered fungus-killing bacterium after Keanu Reeves. The Daily Mail reported this.

In particular, the researchers explained this by saying that the celebrity “is also very lethal in his roles.”

Answering questions from his fans on Reddit Ask Me Anything, the Canadian actor said he thinks the deadly molecule is named kyanomycin.

“They should have called him John Wick… but that’s pretty cool… and surreal for me. But thanks scientists! Good luck and thanks for helping us,” he wrote.

It was previously reported that Keanu Reeves received a temporary restraining order against a man who claims to be connected to their family.

The first trailer for John Wick 4 has been released
