In the first semi-final of Eurovision-2022, 34-year-old participant from Lithuania Monica Liu supported Ukraine in the war with Russia. He spoke about it at a press conference.
“I want to express a very important opinion for all of you. Let’s not forget that there is a war in Ukraine. Support, send funds. Money and attention are also important! Please! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!” said Monica.
In addition, during the announcement of the voting results, the singer held a small flag of Ukraine in his hands.
