The world-famous British rock musician Elton John sent Ukraine 125 thousand dollars, which will be spent on ten biochemical blood analyzers. He announced this on his Instagram page.
In particular, the artist, on the eve of the anniversary of a massive war, admitted that he was concerned that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine slowed down the fight against HIV and AIDS.
So, he remembered his concert in Kyiv, which took place in 2007, where he promised the citizens of our country to help fight the disease.
“One fine spring night in 2007, looking out into a crowd of 300,000, I promised the people of Ukraine that I would do everything I could to help overcome the AIDS crisis. One year after Russia launched a massive invasion of Ukraine, I am watching with pain in my heart as the destruction continues to claim lives. In addition to the great loss of life and destruction, Ukraine’s amazing success in overcoming the HIV epidemic is threatened ,” he wrote.
