Many people leave the pot full of food all day, but this attitude can harm the health of pet. “The ideal is always to divide the daily ration into at least three meals; in the case of puppies, up to five. But, if our schedules are not compatible with this, of course we can divide it into two meals – always observing the daily amount indicated by the manufacturer and never leaving it at ease”, teaches Julio Miguel Fernandes. According to the veterinarian, the exposed feed can be contaminated and cause problems for the pet.
