The coronation ceremony of Charles III and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla is scheduled for May 6 at Westminster Abbey.

Three months before Charles III’s coronation, the UK Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sports has released an official playlist for the celebrations.

It includes 27 hits, and the total duration of the tracks is about two hours. The first song at the ceremony was the composition of the British band The Beatles Come Together.

The list also includes songs by British artists Queen, Spice Girls, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles and others.

According to the BBC, the agency’s spokesperson said that the playlist initially included 28 tracks, but after publication, the song by rapper Dizzee Rascal, who was convicted of assaulting his girlfriend in 2022, was removed.

It was previously reported that the coronation of Charles III will be held in a new format. The monarch will change traditions and wear more sophisticated and modern clothes
