Japinha Conde is an inspiration for hundreds of women who dream of starting a music career.
exclusively to Maximum Digital, the singer talked about the prejudices she has faced throughout her artistic career. Right away, the artist said that she faces judgments for singing sertanejo and forró being a woman from the southeastern region of the country.
“Unfortunately this is the time when there is still a lot of prejudice against women in the music market. Of course, things have changed a few years ago with the emergence of Marília Mendonça, Marília showed society that we women can sing too. And Marília showed the opposite to the public, she showed that we women can also dominate, both in the music market and in the world.”he said.
