Russian singer Elizaveta Gyrdymova, better known under the pseudonym Monetochka, told how she was persecuted for her anti-war stance. He announced this on his Instagram page.

The artist publicly admitted that the persecution began after he was identified as a “foreign agent” in the Russian Federation. The performer began to be criticized on television and in social networks, and they also outlined the door of the apartment.

“I have been speaking out against the war for 10 months now, but the ‘wave of righteous hate’ overtook me only last week, it started suddenly and somehow ‘artificially’, exactly two days before the foreign agency – there were simultaneous statements by several speakers, and a group of articles in Z-publics, which used to almost ignore me, and stories on TV, and outlined the doors of my apartment,” he said.

At the same time, Monetochka noted that everyone around her supported her position against the war.

“If you’re trying to show how much everyone hates me, I still won’t believe you. None of my close friends, shop colleagues have turned their backs on me, I feel so much support that I’ve never experienced.. And also from our charity collection with Vanya for humanitarian aid to Ukrainians, more than one hundred thousand euros came from our listeners from Russia,” she summed up.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian singer Monetochka spoke in support of Ukraine and a free Belarus.
