The brother of the famous British actor Julian Sands admitted that he had said goodbye to him, because he believed that his search in the mountains would not be successful. The BBC reported it.
According to Nick Sands, he wanted to believe his brother was dead instead of suffering from the disease in the mountains of Southern California.
“I’ve come to terms with the fact that he’s gone. We’re still hopeful, but I think I feel like he’s not coming back and that’s why I’ve already said goodbye,” he said.
In turn, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said the search, which has been ongoing since January 13, has yet to yield any results.
“Extensive ground and air searches have been conducted. To date, Mr. Sands has not been located, and no evidence of his current whereabouts has been found. Searches will continue as weather conditions permit,” they said.
Earlier it was reported that eight people died due to an avalanche near a road tunnel in the Tibet Autonomous Region in western China.
