5 Netflix releases in February

This Wednesday (25/01), Netflix released the complete list of releases for the month of February. In the catalogue, there are films, series and documentaries that promise to please all tastes. Among the highlights most awaited by the public is the sequel to the famous series “You”, with the obsessed killer Joe, and the documentary by comedian Whindersson Nunes.

In the movies category, there is the romantic comedy “Na Sua Casa ou Na Minha”, with actors Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher, which guarantees to win over lovers. For those who prefer horror and enigma productions, the platform launches “Fantasma e Cia”, by the same director of “A Morte Te Dá Congratulations” and “Atividade Paranormal”. An adaptation of book of the same name by Caroline Kepnes, the series that became popular for portraying the reality of stalkers on social networks returns with the 4th season and new characters. Divided into two parts, the production will enter the catalog of the streaming on February 10th, but the sequel will be released only on March 10th.

Despite that, fans can be excited to re-follow Joe’s (Penn Badgley) story on a new journey. In this new cycle, the character tries to restart his life in London with the promise of becoming someone better and burying the past. However, another obsession arises, and Joe’s paths may take different directions than expected.

At Your House or Mine (02/10)

Directed and scripted by Aline Brosh Mckenna, also responsible for the famous film “The Devil Wears Prada”, the romantic comedy tells the story of Debbie (Reese Witherspoon) and Peter (Ashton Kutcher), two best friends who, despite living on opposite sides of the United States, build an inspiring and beautiful friendship.

After Debbie decides to pursue a long-held dream, Peter offers to keep an eye on her teenage son, and the two switch houses. With the change, they realize that they may have more characteristics in common than they imagined, and the possibility of a novel may arise in the middle of the way.

New national series Netflixthe production, starring well-known names like Mel Maia, tells the story of the Menezes family, a group of funny and unfiltered people who see their lives completely change after Marcely (Ademara), the eldest daughter, decides to drop out of college to become a digital influencer.

Known for being too sincere, Marcely runs away from the standards of being a common blogger, which is why her way conquers many followers. However, with popularity, the newest influencer also gains haters and many confusions. This, in turn, makes her friends and family have to solve her problems.

Presented by Whindersson Nunes, the show stand up it will be the comedian’s third on the platform. In this new production full of nostalgia and a lot of fun, the artist reflects, with grace, on current issues, such as the effect of social networks, religion and social changes. From fun stories told from his point of view, he sings, interprets and guarantees a lot of laughs from the audience.

Starring Anthony Mackie and David Harbour, names known for their interpretations in Marvel films, the production follows the story of Kevin (Anthony Mackie) and his family, after they decide to move to a new house. At the residence, the group encounters a ghost named Ernest (David Harbour), and the case ends up going viral on social media. However, when Kevin decides to investigate his new ghostly friend’s past, he becomes the target of the CIA.
