She decorated her nursery in black, dressed the girl in a black Victorian outfit with ruffles and lace, and tried to surround the baby with a dark gothic atmosphere.
American Rebi Hardy from North Carolina began raising her one-year-old daughter Ever More as a Goth. The Daily Mail writes about it.
The woman said she got the idea to turn her son into a goth after buying a Victorian crib on Facebook Marketplace.
“People have the misconception that I did all this because of the show, but the design of her room and the name were chosen before she was born. There are definitely Addams Family-inspired elements – people say that the Ever More is a miniature copy of Wednesday Addams. There are hints of this in her nursery decor – like the original copy of the Addams family mansion on the mantelpiece and a picture of her sister dressed as a Pubert baby. When I got pregnant, she was the my first girl after three boys. I chose pink, but I wanted something more unique and different. The rest of the house is in the neo-Victorian style, very rich and luxurious,” said the mother.
In addition, she believes that the baby’s name is gothic.
“In discussions with my husband, we decided to name our future daughter Ever with reference to the work of Edgar Allan Poe. For the second part of the name, it is a tribute to my mother-in-law. My husband’s mother died her when she was young, and her name was Ruby More, so we wanted to use her maiden name,” the woman admitted.

Also, the mother ties the birth itself to this topic. The baby was born by a backyard pool on July 11, 2021 during a severe storm.
“Because she’s a summer child, I thought, let’s do it outside, in the wild. She was born outside during a thunderstorm. Every time I had contractions, thunder rumbled. It was the most crazy, primal experience. The rain even stopped when He was born. It’s very relevant for a gothic child,” said the American.
