It turned out that the star signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine even before the start of the war – on February 16 last year.
Ukrainian musician Alexander Polozhinsky, who defends the country on the front line, admitted that he could not be an officer. He wrote it on Facebook.
The hero was transferred to another unit due to his mental and physical condition as a defender after eight months of service. However, Polozhinsky assured that he will do everything to fulfill his new duties.
“I’ve been in the army for eight months. Quite a bit at the military level, a whole eternity by civilian standards. Eight months of work on myself, training, hopes, failures, successes, discoveries, acquaintance with new and new. In unfortunately, somewhere in half a year began to gradually lose health. Polozhinsky also added that he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine on February 16 last year.
“At the moment, the physical and, as a result, the moral state is tolerable, but far from perfect. The question of whether there is an opportunity to become an officer and be more useful seems to have received a final negative answer. Too old . Not a problem. But I wanted to. Not so annoying that there is no chance to become an officer, like the realization that my potential as a person who can be more useful in another position is noticeable only to me. Or maybe it doesn’t exist really? Or maybe there just isn’t such a position? – said the musician.
Currently, Polozhinsky serves in the 47th brigade.
“I don’t know the full scope of my duties yet, but I already understand that I will do something more similar to what I did in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Well, in Caesar, the Caesar. The brigade is actively understaffing, rearming and calming down. There are many signs that they will not wait much longer. Whether I will go to the front – I have no idea. But for now, please do not say that I am a hero or a defender. Because this is not the case (although often telling me this). But when the order comes – I will do my best to fulfill it,” Polozhinsky assured.
