Great Britain’s King Charles III said strange and offensive words about him and his children to the late Princess Diana.
The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, continues to reveal new details of life at Buckingham Palace, presenting a book of memoirs extra. Page Six writes about it.
According to Prince Harry, his father, the current King of Great Britain, Charles III, after his birth, told his mother, Princess Diana, that his work was done. This happened in 1984.
The Duke of Sussex, who is the former couple’s second child, wrote in his book that on his birthday, Charles III celebrated the “wonderful” news by saying the following words to his then-wife:
“Now you have given me an heir and a spare – my work is done.”
We are talking about the line of succession of the British royal family, where Prince William, first in line to the throne, became the “heir apparent”.
And the monarch called his second child “reserve”.
It is worth noting that at the moment, when Prince William and Kate Middleton have three children, Prince Harry is fifth in line to the throne.
As you know, Charles and Lady Dee officially divorced in 1996. Before that, they had not been together for several years. A year later, Lady Dee was in a fatal car accident in Paris. Now Prince Harry has admitted that his father didn’t even hug him after his mother’s funeral.
Remember that a significant part of the British wants to remove Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle from royal titles. This is confirmed by the results of a YouGov survey.
