Since the early 2000s, the expansion of medical deserts has become a major contributor to health disparities. The recent increase in medical promotion numbers will not be enough to solve this problem, as most future doctors are not sufficiently encouraged to settle in these fields. And if the training of doctors in France has a tradition of excellence for two centuries, it is surprising to our fellow citizens to train excellent doctors who are not easily accessible to the entire population of France… the medical education system can help in certain aspects.
