No one can say that Peter Navarro has no priorities, but that doesn’t mean people won’t laugh at them.
After Donald Trump’s former trade adviser pleaded not guilty to two counts in Congress on Friday as he tried to postpone the start of the trial until next year.
Ironically, Navarro’s book discusses the Jan. 6 uprising-the same topic he refused to discuss with a select House committee investigating the attack on the Capitol-hence the accusation of disgust.
Federal prosecutors praised Navarro’s argument about his book tour as a “clearly unreasonable” delay tactic.
“The government has serious concerns about delays in the book travel process,” said Amanda Vaughn, a U.S. Attorney General. According to The Daily Beast. “The company has a hand in resolving this case.
U.S. District Judge Amit P. Mehta apparently agreed to pre-set the trial date for Nov. 17.
Many Twitter users have no sympathy for Navarro’s plight, especially since his book discusses many things he doesn’t want to talk about under oath.
Lol, Navarro’s lawyers said he won’t be in court by the end of the year because he’ll be touring the book.
The book discusses topics he refused to discuss in committee on the grounds of executive privilege.

Someone wonders if delaying Navarro’s trial will give him more opportunities to gather evidence.
I mean, if a man wants to go to court after a book is published, that could be full of evidence of his involvement in a rebellious conspiracy …
