University of Washington basketball star Justin Hardy He died Sunday, just months after helping his team in the post-season while playing stage 4 of stomach cancer.
“After 13 months of boldly deciding what it means to live with cancer, Justin died peacefully this morning,” his father, Bob Hardy, wrote on Twitter.

After surgery for a perforated ulcer, Hardy was diagnosed with the disease in April 2021: he had stomach cancer and was dying.
Despite severe weight loss during treatment, Hardy returned to court in St. Louis. Louis, Missouri State School, where he played 21 games. Average 11.1 points per game. He averaged the second -highest score on the team that eventually hit the Second Round NCAA Division III Tournament.
A senior who has already graduated with a double major has been repeatedly featured on ESPN.
