Former White House adviser Kellan Conway has given the clearest indication that he and his wife, Donald Trump’s lawyer and recognized critic are having serious problems with George Conway’s marriage.
But Conway left clues (and some shadows) after Gail King mentioned a passage in the book in which she wrote that ““The man you thought had a back, stabbed him in the back.”
“It’s not a shame,” Conway said. “I think women can relate to it, but that’s the next level. And I will say. George Conway’s commitment is not ahead of Donald Trump. He has no allegiance or allegiance to a particular party or president. It’s respect. and respect me. “
“George has changed his mind about President Trump,” he added. “It can be done, but George isn’t too pompous in public.”
Then the king asked in vain: “Did your marriage survive?”
Conway declined, citing the family being together over the weekend.
“Divorced – quarrelsome parents are still face to face,” King replied.
But the real revelation may have come after King’s co-host Jeff Glory noticed that Conway wasn’t wearing his wedding band.
“Not really,” he said smiling.
