Fox News presenter Tucker Carlson was taunted on social media on Monday after trying to show his audience a “crowd” of abortion protesters, but instead pointed the finger.
Carlson told viewers that he intended to broadcast “live photos” of the protest outside the home of Deputy Supreme Court Judge Samuel Alito, the author’s draft opinion, which, if published, would will be removed against Ro Wade. Carlson noted that this is what it looks like “when you write an idea that most people don’t like.”
However, instead of a bloated crowd, the live shot showed a woman speaking with a megaphone, with several people standing behind her.
At one point the woman raised her middle finger.
“Ah!” Carlson replied and nodded. “Let’s turn it off, too.”
It’s unclear if the woman in question knew she would be live on Fox News.
Twitter users were quick to ridicule Carlson, a notorious liar who repeatedly shared white nationalist speeches on his hurt finger program, especially considering other things in his airwaves, such as the homoerotic celebration of male bodies. Contains testicular tanning tips:
