Part of the funds raised from sales will go to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the company assured.
New postage stamps from the Weapons of Victory series will go into circulation in Ukraine. Ukriinfom reported this in connection with Ukrposhta on Thursday, December 1.
“Ukrposhta announced the release of new postage stamps – Weapons of Victory, to thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for their stability, power and courage. The issue is charitable: part of the funds raised will be directed to help the Armed Forces Strength of Ukraine,” the message said.
The Weapons of Victory stamp sheet will consist of six stamps with samples of domestic and foreign military weapons: Alder, Neptune, Stugna-P, Bayraktar TV2, FGM-149 Javelin, M142 Haymars. The stamps will be accompanied by a First Day envelope, an unmarked envelope and a card.
The circulation of the stamp sheet is given for 200,000 copies. The cost of such a sheet is UAH 90, of which UAH 18 is a charitable contribution. The face value of each stamp is U (UAH 12) which corresponds to the tariff for sending a non-priority plain sheet weighing up to 50 g within Ukraine.
It will be possible to buy the stamp issue Arms of Victory from December 6 in Ukrposhta city offices across the country, as well as in the company’s online store. In addition, the new brands will be sold on Prom, Kasta, Rozetka, eBay and Amazon markets.
Remember that Ukrposhta can issue a stamp with Melitopol cherries and a raccoon stolen by Russian aggressors.
It was also reported that in Ukraine they launched a pre-sale of the brand with Kherson. It will be released in December.
