On Monday (Nov. 7), the 26-year-old supermodel shared three Instagram stories that sparked many questions among her fans.
A few days ago, Bella Hadid attended the award ceremony of the “Fashion Trust Arabia” foundation for young designers of the Arab world in Qatar. But far from the sensational silhouettes of Alaa or Schiaparelli that she showed off for the occasion, the top shared some rather disturbing footage on her Instagram account on Monday, November 7, in a hospital setting.
In the video, an unreal moment during the Fashion Week.
Three mysterious stories
In the first picture we see him bent over, his back covered in bandages and a green bandage on his arm. The next two photos show first his leg with big bruises, then a syringe filled with blood.
Between anxiety and support
His fans were quick to show concern and were especially vocal on Twitter. One person said in Spanish that he didn’t understand their stories and asked for context.
Others were very warm, like this user who wrote: “Your health is the most important thing in the universe. You will be better soon my angel. I like you. You give me strength to be strong. I hope our love can reach you today and whenever you need it.”
Turkish tabloid VIP newspaper The model was believed to be getting injections to ease her pain from Lyme disease, which she has been suffering from for several years. Last year, the model already published photos of them undergoing intravenous treatment and explained the connection with this disease, which was originally transmitted by tick bites.
News is loaded
These new images, so far uncommented by the model, are all the more surprising as they come amid busy and happy news. On October 9, during her birthday party, Bella Hadid appeared in a photo shoot in a black lace dress. And appeared to be touched by a very personalized birthday cake made by her big sister Gigi Hadid.
The model was recently honored with the “Mental Health Advocacy” (read: “mental health advocacy”) award at the Golden Hearts Awards on October 17 in New York City. She then flew to Qatar, where she skydive with her husband, Mark Kalman. She was back in the US this past weekend for a photo shoot in Santa Monica, California. But the common symptoms that accompany Lyme disease, such as joint pain and fatigue, along with the supermodel’s frenetic pace, can take a toll on her condition.
