British band Arctic Monkeys, who will offer concert in lima, announced this Wednesday the release of his seventh studio album, The Car. The unreleased material from the recording will be available on various music platforms starting October 21st.
This musical project of the band comes four years after their last album, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino. Its Peruvian public will also take the opportunity to listen to the new part of the group, led by Alex Turner, before its presentation at Arena 1 Costa Verde (San Miguel), in which Interpol will be the guest group.
To date, it is known that “The Car” will consist of ten songs, among which “I Ain’t Quite Where I Think I Am” stands out, which some fans were able to hear live during the band’s concert. Arctic Monkeys made in Switzerland, parts of which were recorded and later shared on social media.
The new Arctic Monkeys tracks were written by Alex Turner, produced by James Ford and recorded between London (UK) and Paris (France).

In a press release Arctic Monkeys they described their new album as if the band were “running rampage through a splendid new musical landscape”. “It contains some of the richest and most rewarding vocal performances of Alex Turner’s career,” they added.

Who are arctic monkeys?
Owners of a powerful rock sound, English band Arctic Monkeys formed in Sheffield in 2002 and have released six studio albums to date; the most recent of these is the Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, opened in 2018.
Since its debut in 2006, Whatever People Say I Am, Thats What I’m Not, the music project has become the fastest debut to hit the UK charts and is considered one of the best albums of all time. This was followed by a merger with the release of the albums “Favourite Worst Nightmare” (2007), “Humbug” (2009) and “Suck It And See” (2011).
However, they gained worldwide fame only after the release of their album “AM” (2013). Single “I Wanna Know?” it peaked at number 4 on the US Billboard Hot 100, turning the band into a global phenomenon. In addition, they again won in the category “Best English Album” at the Brit Awards.
