Award-winning Peruvian writer Alfredo Brice Echenique received an honorary doctorate from the Ricardo Palma University (URP) at a ceremony held yesterday in Kori Vasi Cultural Center said House of Research.

He holds a Master’s degree in Literature from the University of Vincennes (1975) and has also worked as a professor of Spanish-American literature at the Universities of Nanterre, Sorbonne and Vincennes-Saint-Denis in Paris and an assistant professor at the Paul Valery University.
