Ukraine’s victory in the war is an exceptional guarantee for peace. This was stated by Brigadier General, commander of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatiy in an interview published today in the Telegram of the Office of Strategic Communications of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
There are many heroic deeds. Most of all, people are remembered who were wounded during the assault or during offensive operations, and on the second day they were already in the ranks. I am proud of my staff, none of them give up. On the contrary, they ask: “We didn’t do enough there. Commander, when will we go ahead?”… We have the best people. There is someone, for whom and for what to fight, to defend our freedom… Yes, blood is being shed, we need to survive this time and do everything so that our children, descendants do not know what war is, except perhaps from books or stories, – said Brigadier General.
Drapatiy also commented on the beginning of the invasion of Russian war criminals, the plans and actions of the enemy, the attitude of local residents and the readiness of the Ukrainian army for offensive operations.
I believe, I know that not only in our direction, but also in others, a series of actions will be carried out that will lead to the de-occupation of our territory. Today the troops are ready, less ready for protracted actions, more ready for active offensive actions. This is a necessity … I dream that peace will come exclusively, exclusively through our victory, – summed up Drapaty.
