As part of the cultural project Your Vershi, My Notes, Ukrainian performers Artem Pivovarov and Olya Polyakova presented a new composition based on a poem by Lesya Ukrainka. Video artists published on Youtube.

It is noted that the project was created to promote and support Ukrainian culture. Now there are songs on the works of Taras Shevchenko, Bogdan-Igor Antonych, Geo Shkurupiy, Ivan Franko, Mykhailo Starytsky, Pavel Tychyna and other famous Ukrainian poets.

“Lesya Ukrainka made a great contribution to the development of culture, contributed to the formation of important characteristics of the Ukrainians’ mentality. So I cannot ignore this outstanding figure in the project Your Vershi, My Note. His work carries a national idea, in particular, it reminds us of the value of will and resilience. Now we broadcast this idea to the whole world. No matter how hard it is, we never stop dreaming, without limiting the flight of our thoughts. And we must preserve this inner freedom and pass it on to future generations,” said Artem Pivovarov.
