In total, four possible scenarios for economic development were developed. “Depending on the conditions that may occur situations for the development of front events, the duration of the war, or at least the different intensity and geographical scope, the speed of the recovery processes, taking into account- considering the amount of international donor aid, investment, etc.,” the minister wrote.
According to him, according to the Plan for the Reconstruction of Ukraine for 10 years, it is planned, with the help of partner countries, to increase the GDP to $500 billion compared to a record $200 billion in pre-war 2021.
Sviridenko named five important steps of the Plan: restore businesses, return the economy to pre-war conditions as soon as possible, make Ukraine attractive to capital, build logistics routes to deliver goods to Europe within 72 hours, and provide access to raw materials for the export of processed products and stimulation of processing.
The minister noted that the functioning of the economy today and further development is impossible without the strong support of foreign partners.
It should be noted that the Cabinet of Ministers expects the growth of the Ukrainian economy next year to 15.5% after falling by 35-40% this year.
