The Ministry of Culture explained why Ukraine was not awarded Eurovision-2023

At the international song contest, which will be held in the UK, the audience will see Ukrainian narratives.

The final decision to host Eurovision 2023 in the UK was taken after several rounds of consultation between the ICIP and the European Broadcasting Union. The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy announced this on Telegram.

According to the agency, it is impossible to hold a competition in Ukraine due to technical and financial requirements from the EBU.

Among other things, the British government and the BBC have ensured that Eurovision 2023 will be held on behalf of Ukraine with a very high integration of Ukrainian contexts and presenters.

Please note that the international song contest Eurovision 2023 will be held in the UK for security reasons.
