She is coming! In the early hours of Tuesday, 10, the South Korean portal JoyNews24 (via Soompi) reported that Chaeyounga member of Twice, will perform his long-awaited solo debut in the second half of 2025, becoming the fourth member of the group to perform musical releases as a soloist.
The vehicle points out that the singer’s debut is expected to take place in the fall of South Korea (time corresponding to September, October and November), starting the disclosure after the finalization of her agenda abroad and the launch of the girlgroup in July.
In response to the report, JYP Entertainment, the company responsible for managing the career of all Twice members, confirmed the information, where he said:
“Chaeyoung will debut as a solo artist. She is currently preparing her album. The exact release date will be announced later.”
It is worth remembering that, currently, in addition to being preparing to perform its new Comeback on July 11 with the full-album “This Is For”, Twice is also rehearsing to start its newest world tour, which bears the same name as the new album.
So far, the group has already scheduled performances in the following cities: Inheon, Osaka, Aichi, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Macao, Bulcan, Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Kaohsing, Hong Kong and Bangkok. New dates and cities should be released soon. So far, there is no information on a possible presentation in South America.
More than that, also in the second half of 2025, Twice also has another important commitment in its agenda: the group will be the main attraction of Lollapalooza Chicago, where they take the stage on August 2. This will be the first participation of the set in the renowned festival.
Beyond the girlgroup formed by Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mine, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and TzuyuLollapalooza Chicago will also feature other famous groups of South Korean pop music. They are: BoynextDoor, Xdinary Heroes and Kickflip. Katseye, Hybe’s global Girlgroup formed of the reality show “Dream Academy”, is also confirmed in the edition.
