“Hello, I’m Sergeant Kim Namjoon, from the 15th Infantry Division, part of the Military Band, and I was dismissed today. It’s so good to see you! Finally I was dismissed, but in fact we are fulfilling the shortest military service period, right?

And then, after serving such a short military service, and considering that the conditions also improved a lot, when I enlisted … Honestly, even though I had difficulty, I felt deeply that, when we worked (as artists), there were many people protecting the country in our place.

So as we worked, many people, both in front and behind the scenes, protected our country, fought for us and allowed us to grow and continue our work. When I arrived for the service, I became very close to my father and my friends because many of them had already served in the army.

More BTS members will be dismissed?

Rom and V joined Jin and J-hopewhich had already been dismissed from military service in June and August 2024, respectively.
