Girls’ Generation’s last comeback was in 2017, to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
More confirmed than ever! During a recent interview with Elle Korea, Tiffany Youngfrom Girls’ Generation, also confirmed that the group is making plans to celebrate their 15th anniversary of debut in 2022.
tiffany didn’t reveal many details, and didn’t say if plans include the release of new music, but confirmed that, indeed, something will happen.
“I need to confirm before I say anything…yes, we have something planned! That should be enough right? Yes, we have plans!”
It is worth remembering that she is not the first member of Girls’ Generation to comment on the reunion in celebration of 15 years. Last month, Taeyeonhad already revealed during a fansign that there is a possibility of a possible commemorative comeback this year.

In addition, earlier this month, Sooyoung also teased fans on her Instagram stories by asking if everyone was ready for a comeback for the group in 2022. While late last year, during the show “You Quiz on the Block”, all eight members confirmed that they are open to the possibility of meeting again in celebration of the anniversary.
Formed in 2007 by SM Entertainment, Girls’ Generation is considered one of the most important girl groups in K-pop, being a reference for countless artists to this day. SNSD’s last release came in 2017, when the group celebrated their tenth year together through the release of the album “Holiday Night”, and the singles “Holiday” and “All Night”. Watch!
