With the launch of last season of K-Drama ‘Round 6’ approaching, protagonist Lee Jung Jae reveals his feelings to the outcome
K-Dramas fans, one of the most iconic South Korean productions of recent times is coming to an end this June: “Round 6”, a series that follows the protagonist Seong Gi Hun in the deadly competition facing the challenges for those who undergo financial difficulties. Played by the actor Lee Jung Jae, The character, now in the final stretch after winning the games in the first season, returns with the mission of ending the show once and for all.
Thus, the artist, in an interview during Tudum 2025, Netflix event, revealed his particular feeling about the imminent outcome, expressing being “very nervous” with the reaction that the viewers will have.
“We will release soon, I’m very nervous. I know that many of you are curious to know what will happen in season third, but we are all curious to know how much you will like. I can barely wait, I am very nervous,” he confessed.
It is worth remembering that, earlier, the actor Lee byung hunwho lives the leader in the show, also shared with fans who read the scripts of the last two seasons together, and praised the director’s “perfect writing” Hwang Dong Hyuk: “It was such an intriguing and engaging reading, and I was impressed again with director Hwang’s skills.”
He ended up confessing that he was happy with the end of “Round 6”, saying, “I’m happy with the end, but I know that the fans, each, have what they want to see, so I’m really curious to know how they will react to it. And I’m very nervous to find out.”
When does the last season debut?
The last season of ‘Round 6’ is scheduled to premiere on Netflix for June 27, 2025. Meanwhile, all episodes of the previous two seasons are available in the streaming catalog.
