At one of the biggest festivals in Europe, the Sarajevo Film Festival, only six Ukrainian films will be shown.
Dmitry Sukholitky-Sobchuk’s documentary film Liturgy of anti-tank obstacles will open the largest film festival in the Balkans and one of the largest in Europe – Sarajevo Film Festival. This was reported on the movie forum website.
It was already mentioned that the premiere of the film will take place there, which tells about Ukrainians who temporarily changed their profession to be useful to Ukraine during a full-scale war with Russia. In particular, in art workshops, sculptors make anti-tank barriers.
An online premiere will soon take place on the New Yorker website, which funded its creation.
In addition, Ukrainian films such as Christ’s Bride’s Diary, Fragile Memory, While It’s Quiet Here, Analogy of Space and Klondike will participate in the Sarajevo Film Festival.
The film festival will be held from 12 to 19 August 2022. It will compete in four sections 51 films – feature, documentary, short and student.
