5 doramas that refer to Brazil

Discover some doramas, with different actors and assumptions, which bring a curious detail in common: references to Brazil!

Titles created for South Korean TV, K-Dramas (popularly known as doramas) have increased the number of fans in the West over the years, after all, streaming platform catalogs are increasingly stuffed with the beloved ‘South Korean soap operas’.

So much so that one of the places that has added an exponential number of assiduous consumers of the doramas is Brazil, given that today 90% of Brazilians consume these contents, according to a survey by ECGLOBAL (via IG).

However, the faithful audience in Brazil seems to generate results not only at the production levels of productions, but also in the way they are made, as many of them bring references – of various types – to the Brazilian country; See 5 of them:

1. Doona (2023)

Dorama of 2023, “Doona” is filled with elements that connect with Brazil that appear both in subtler, and when a Brazilian shirt can be seen on the scene, or even a sequence in which a couple argues in Portuguese.
