To celebrate Mother’s Day; Remember five mothers who have become memorable in having their relationships with their children portrayed by Disney
In addition to real life, in fiction there are also amazing mothers! In the stories produced by Disney Studios, for example, it is possible to find various types of maternity, which, like any other, bring errors and hits, but, above all, have something important in common: shared love between these maternal figures and their children.
With this in mind, to celebrate this Mother’s Day, celebrated in Brazil on the second Sunday of May, the playground brought together a list of 5 (from the human and animal world) memorable portrayed by Mickey’s house; Check it out:
1. Mrs. Jumbo (Dumbo)
Launched in animation in 1941, and live-action in 2019, “Dumbo” accompanies the elephant who has too big ears since birth. It turns out that, in the plot, Mrs. Jumbo is waited for the visit of Mr. Stork with what he always dreamed: a son, which she named as Jumbo Jr.
However, because it is different from the others of its kind, Mrs. Jumbo’s puppy begins to mockery. Trying to spare him from the evil comments, she always defended him and welcomed him, even getting into a fight to protect him.
2. Perdita (101 Dalmatians)

In “101 Dalmatas” (1996), the designer Anita and the writing Roger are owners of Pongo and Perdita, who become 15 Dalmatian puppies. The problem? The litter is kidnapped by Anita’s boss, Cruella de Vil, who intends to wear these and other puppies to make a skin coat.
With this, Perdita embarks on a mission next to Pongo to recover her children, overcoming fear while sniffing and communicated with other dogs along the way, and facing snow, malicious humans and other animals to find them. When she thinks, she finds out that there were 84 more puppies at the mercy of Cruella’s wickedness – and what does she do? Adopt everyone!
3. LUCILLE, Lewis’s Foster Mother (the Family of the Future)

Title of 2007, “The Family of the Future” introduced the researcher and inventor Lucille Krunklehor-Robinson, wife of Bud Robinson and Lewis’s foster mother. In the plot, Lewis was abandoned as a baby in an orphanage and since then he has met several families, but none of them has been able to provide him with a home for not understanding him, after all, Lewis is passionate about scientific inventions and is always involved in a new project that usually goes wrong.
He had already given up being adopted, but, as one of those pleasant surprises of life, he found his parents without less waiting, since it was after a science fair that Lucille decided to provide everything Lewis deserved: a safe place so he could always have been, after all she always supported her interests, understood her feelings and motivated him even with countless errors, after all, the faults are part of the process!
4. Kala (Tarzan)

Newborn, Tarzan ended up losing his parents tragically. Abandoned in the forest, he almost lost his chance to have a future – which was saved by Kala. This is because Mama Gorilla decided to adopt him, even with the criticism of those around her, making him grow safe, always protecting him and teaching everything he knew.
5. Queen Elinor (Valente)

In a complex relationship with her Merida daughter, Queen Elinor of “Valente” (2012), who is the mother of three small boys and is behind much what happens in the kingdom in which she lived, proved to be an example of mother by proving to be willing to learn from her mistakes and to understand the desires and feelings of Merida so that they can be stronger together.
In the plot, Merida challenges the customs in deciding to own her own destiny by not accepting the ancestral customs of her kingdom after seeing young people who did not know vying for her hand. Elinor tries to get his daughter to follow the tradition to ensure that Merida became safe, but is turned into a giant bear brown after being the victim of a terrible curse accidentally caused by the princess, which causes them to board a dangerous journey and full of teachings to undo the spell before it is too late.
