Overall, Poland’s Ministry of Defense has bought 250 Abram tanks in the new version for about $ 4.75 billion.
Poland has received another batch of American main tanks of the latest M1A2sepv3 change. This was announced by Deputy Minister of National Defense of Poland Pavel Beidau on Friday, May 9.
“19 More American M1A2Sepv3 Abrams tanks are in Poland. They are about to reinstate the weapons of the Poland army,” he wrote on platform X.

Currently, the Polish Armed Forces are located 116 Abram Tanks of previous versions. In addition, earlier this year Poland received the first 38 cars in Sepv3’s latest change.
The Abrams M1A2SEPV3 is different from the improved composite arm, modernized fire control system, giving you to accurately hit targets during movement, as well as the ability to use fragmentation and fluent shells. The package update also included improved electronics, improved crew protection and increased efficiency in battle conditions.
The new supply is part of a large -scale program for modernizing Poland’s armed forces and strengthens their defense capabilities against the background of growing security threats in Eastern Europe.
The Abrams M1A2 SEPV3 is the most modern serial modification of the main tank of the United States M1 Abrams, designed to increase the safety, fatal, reliability and protection of cyber in the battlefield of the XXI century war.

- The third -generation digital views and thermal imagers
- The possibility of firing fragmentation and explosive shell
- Improved power supply for modern communication, navigation and control systems
- Protection against cyberism in communication and management systems
- New systems for discovering and suppressing threats, including laser radiation
The active protection system (APS) (optional): Provides interception of missiles and shells before defeat.
Remember that in January, Poland from the United States received the first 28 Abram Tanks in the latest version of M1A2SEPV3, delivered to the RP of the sea.
Note that Poland in 2022 signed an agreement with the United States with the supply of 250 modern M1A2 Abrams tanks in 2025-2026. Warsaw later said he came to a Washington agreement on providing another 116 M1A1 tank, which works. Poland crews have been trained in the said American vehicles in the country in 2022.
The Poland Ministry of Defense also entered into a contract with the American Corporation General Atomics Aeronautical Systems in providing MQ-9B Skyguardian intelligence drones.
