Rockstar Games has announced a new postponement of GTA’s sixth game; Find out what is the new release date and the reasons for the delay
Rockstar Games confirmed on Friday, 02, the official postponement of the long-awaited ‘Grand Theft Auto 6’, which was initially scheduled to debut in September this year, the game had its new date of Launch scheduled for May 26, 2026.
In a statement, the company apologized to fans for the delay and said it needs more time to ensure the quality of the title, justifying that each game produced by them aims to exceed expectations, so GTA 6 is no different.

If the new forecast is maintained, the game will arrive 12 years after the release of its predecessor, GTA 5, marking the largest interval between franchise titles. Nevertheless, the expectation of sales remains high, with analysts predicting over $ 3 billion in the first year alone.
