Belift Lab, a subsidiary company of Hybe, which manages the career of Boygroup Enhypen, released on Wednesday, 5, an official statement informing the opening of legal action against ‘sasaengs’, ie South Korean Stalkers who violate or violate the privacy of members of the group.

Recently, we witness to serious illegal persecution incidents involving individuals who bribery or drivers to break into the homes of our artists by photographing them and selling the photographs. In response, we started criminal proceedings based on the evidence obtained, including security cameras images.
In addition, we continue to suffer frequent privacy violations and persecution behaviors, such as using illegally bought information to embark on the same flights as our artists, as well as take unauthorized photos of artists in private and repeated private spaces. We would like to make it clear that these actions cause serious damage to our artists and constitute persecution behaviors that explicitly violate the consent of our artists.
The agency also pointed out that Enhypen members have been targeted by organized groups on online platforms, where their personal information was leaked, resulting in obscene bonds and messages, as well as invasive approaches. To contain this type of violation, legal measures are already underway.
“We are currently gathering evidence for these cases and other illegal activities listed below and we are taking strong legal measures:
1. Make telephone calls continuously, including sending obscene messages to artists’ cell phones
2. Following artists in their private lives
3. Obtaining and selling illegal personal information and videos of artists
4. Other actions that violate the privacy of the artists ”
In the statement, the agency also made a direct appeal to the fans, asking them to respect the safety of the group, especially at airports. Excessive physical contact, photos in forbidden areas and interference in travel procedures are attitudes that put members at risk and will not be tolerated.
Enhypen’s security has been a constant concern since the member’s private photos leakage Jungwon that resulted in rumors of a relationship between the leader and WinterFrom Aespa, with this, Belift Lab makes it clear that it will make no effort to ensure that its artists can perform their activities without fear or invasion of privacy from then on.
